LET'S FALL IN LOVE AGAIN!

With the advent of Fall, it's time to get moving again and promote New York wines. We all know that New York has great wines, but we also know that unless we help educate them about these great wines, they won't give them a try. So for the second year in a row, we are conducting a three-month promotion to push New York wines. We did it last year and it made a different, so let's do it again. We had some great press when we announced the campaign, which you can see here.

First, if you haven't gotten a poster yet, email us here and we will send you as many as you want. Or just download them from the site. But get your posters and get them up in the stores. Second, get a winery in the store for a tasting. If you need a winery, email us here and we will get you one from any region of the State you request. Third, make sure you display New York wines prominently in your stores, and offer a discount on cases. Finally, make sure you include the New York wine promotion in your emails.

GOVERNOR CUOMO LOVES NEW YORK WINE

If you haven't heard, the Governor has put New York wine on his radar and is now pushing New York wine as never before. This is great news for all of us, because the Governor's spotlight can only help educate New Yorkers about these great wines. But it also raises the stakes for us. The Governor has made clear he wants to see New York wines in every household in the state, so that means we need to do our part to push it. He is a great supporter of our stores and our way of life. So we can not let him down. Get out there and sell New York wine as if your store depends on it!

HOLIDAY WINE PROMOTION

As we move into the holiday season, we will switch our promotional campaign to a holiday promotion. That means be sure to recommend New York wines with Thanksgiving dinner, as holiday gifts and for New Year Eve parties. It means keeping up the tasting and the posters and the advertising through the end of the year. Let's really make a effort to get every store involved. That is the best way to ensure success.
